Cheesecake Filled Strawberries

Recipes really don't get easier than this. There are 2 ingredients and almost no prep time and absolutely no cooking. These are quick to make and a lovely dessert especially if you have fresh strawberries.

One of my favorite things to do is to find recipe inspiration and figure out ways to make it my own. Now you may be thinking - Dia, how on earth do you suggest making such a simple recipe my own?

Oh. I am so glad you asked. Here are some ideas for you...

• I removed the strawberry stems and filled with cheesecake from the top. To mix it up you could either cut the strawberries in half for more of a deviled egg vibe or cut the stem off making a flat top so the strawberry can sit flat, cut 6 petals into the berry from the point to almost the base without cutting through and fill with enough cheesecake to flare out the petals
• I used No Bake Cheesecake for this recipe. You could make your own cheesecake mix or make an instant cheesecake pudding mix
• I've made these cheesecake filled strawberries several times, most of time I don't add little garnish pieces. However for Easter dessert I topped these with bunny gummies. You could top these with numerous things such as teddy grahams, graham cracker crumbs, crushed oreos, sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, a blueberry, whipped cream or sliced almonds
• You could dip the strawberries in chocolate or drizzle with chocolate sauce
• You could try chocolate cheesecake
• You could pipe the filling with a nice tip into / onto the strawberries to make it much more aesthetically pleasing
• You could mix and match these suggestions!

Make these right before serving as they will not keep well.
